How to protect an Alpine A110 indoors or outdoors
Share
The Alpine A110 combines light weight, agility and instantly recognisable lines. Whether it is driven every week or reserved for fine weather, a parked A110 remains exposed to dust, accidental contact and, outdoors, changing weather conditions.
The right protection therefore depends first on where the car is parked. Indoor and outdoor covers are designed for different environments and should not be used interchangeably.

Why protect an Alpine A110 even in a garage?
A garage reduces exposure to rain and UV light, but it does not stop dust from settling. It also cannot completely prevent light contact, nearby stored objects or people brushing past the car.
A clean indoor cover, fitted to a clean and dry car, helps separate the bodywork from this everyday environment. It does not replace careful washing or a properly ventilated storage space.
Which indoor cover should you choose for an Alpine A110?
For a garage or showroom, a stretch fabric can follow the vehicle’s lines without requiring a made-to-measure cover. The material should be soft against the bodywork, and the selected size must suit the car’s dimensions.
The My Roadster® blue Stretch™ cover is designed exclusively for indoor use. Its 180 g/m² stretch fabric and soft inner face follow the vehicle’s shape. For the Alpine A110, size M-L is intended for cars measuring 3.8 m to 4.2 m. This size carries the My Roadster® logo; it does not carry an Alpine logo.

What if the Alpine A110 is parked outdoors?
The blue Stretch™ cover must not be used outdoors. It is not waterproof and is not designed for prolonged exposure to rain, outdoor dirt or wind.
For outdoor parking, choose a cover specifically designed for outdoor use and suitable for the vehicle’s length. Before fitting it, keep the bodywork and the inside of the cover as clean as possible to limit particle friction.
How to fit and use a cover on an A110
- Make sure the bodywork is clean, dry and cool.
- Identify the front and rear of the cover before unfolding it.
- Fit it progressively without dragging the fabric over dirty areas.
- Do not move the vehicle while it is covered.
- Store the cover clean and dry in its bag when it is not in use.

Protection during long-term storage
When an Alpine A110 remains parked for several weeks, the cover is only one part of the preparation. Tyre pressure, battery care, moisture in the garage and the manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations should also be considered.
Before covering the car, check that there is no visible moisture on the bodywork and that air can circulate normally around the vehicle.
Preserving the appearance and value of an Alpine A110
Well-maintained bodywork contributes to the vehicle’s overall presentation. A suitable cover can help reduce exposure to dust and light contact while the car is parked, but its effectiveness depends on the cleanliness of both the car and the cover, and on using it in the environment for which it was designed.
FAQ — Alpine A110 car covers
Which blue Stretch™ size fits an Alpine A110?
Size M-L, intended for vehicles measuring 3.8 m to 4.2 m, is the stated compatible size for the Alpine A110.
Can the blue Stretch™ cover be used outdoors?
No. It is an indoor-only cover. Outdoor parking requires a cover designed for changing weather conditions.
Does the cover carry the Alpine logo?
No. Size M-L carries the My Roadster® logo only. It is compatible with the Alpine A110 but is not an official Alpine product.
Can a car cover leave marks?
Particles trapped between the bodywork and the fabric may cause friction. The car and the cover should therefore be clean and dry before fitting.
Does an A110 need a made-to-measure cover?
Not necessarily. A correctly sized stretch cover can follow the A110’s lines, provided it is used in the environment for which it was designed.
