This charging port weather cover helps limit the exposure of the plug and charging flap to bad weather while your electric car or plug-in hybrid is connected outdoors.

Its water-resistant Oxford fabric helps protect the charging area against rain, snow and frost. After use, the cover folds easily and can be stored in the boot with the charging cable.

The cover does not make the connection completely watertight. It provides an additional barrier against bad weather and must be used in accordance with the instructions supplied by the vehicle and charging-equipment manufacturers.

Magnetic attachment compatibility

This cover can be used with electric cars and plug-in hybrids when the bodywork around the charging port provides sufficient magnetic attachment.

The magnet does not adhere directly to aluminium, plastic or composite surfaces. Before first use, check that the cover remains securely positioned around the flap without obstructing the plug, cable or vehicle closure.

Directions for use

Fit the cover to clean bodywork to help protect the paint and provide a secure hold.

After charging, remove the cover from the vehicle and cable, allow it to dry completely, then store it in the boot.

Never use the cover with a damaged plug, cable or charging station.
